FIRST WARNING WEATHER: Today brings a big warm-up with mostly sunny skies and highs climbing into the upper 80s to near 90. Humidity will be noticeably lower, which should make it feel comfortable, but that combo of warmth, dry air, and a south-southwest breeze at 8 to 16 mph could raise some localized fire weather concerns. Thursday turns up the heat even more under wall-to-wall sunshine. Afternoon highs soar into the upper 80s to low 90s, and with very dry air in place, we could be flirting with the record high of 91 set back in 1954. Winds shift from southwest to north at 8 to 15 mph, but it stays hot and bright all day. By Friday, temperatures ease back just a bit behind a weak front. Highs settle into the low to mid-80s with a light northeast breeze and a mix of sun and clouds.
