It is very important to understand that there is a difference between the Anointing and the Presence of God! The Anointing - works in us and through us for the work of the Lord within the Body of Christ. Here we do all the work and talking! The Presence of God – God speaks, and we are silence. It is to instruct/commission and direct us in our earthly work/ mandate. Presence of God Exodus 3:4-5 “So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 “Indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God • Notice Moses did very little talking in this encounter. Taking off his sandals is prophetic - in the Presence of God, we don’t need to work but listen and obey! • Notice the Priest couldn’t talk – the Presence of God is a place of surrender and obedience! • The Presence of God is a place of soaking and refreshing and strengthens our spirits.
