Lake Como | Bellagio, Varenna, Villa Balbianello

If you have already watched the first two Rome Vlogs you will know that the next stop on our Mother-Daughter Italy trip was Lake Como. From Rome we took the train to Milano, then a train to Varenna, then a ferry to Bellagio which is where we were staying. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Suisse restaurant, and many delicious snacks and gelati! From Bellagio we took a day trip to Villa Balbianello of Lenno, which is where they filmed parts of Casino Royal and my personal favourite Star Wars (Episode II was featured here and it was known as Naboo). This was truly amazing to experience. We also visited the scenic Varenna for the day and had a lovely lunch at Bar Il Molo which was beautiful and delicious. We were so sad to leave lovely Lago di Como and wished we had more time there. Bellagio, Varenna, and Villa Balbianello of Lenno were truly stunning. It was our first time in Lake Como and it definitely won’t be our last! I hope you enjoy this vlog as much as we enjoyed making it.
