Film footage taken around Carrick-on-Shannon, Rooskey and Jamestown in the early 1960's... including bonfire night and dancing at Cox's Cross, Kilmore where Mrs O'Dowd had a school of Music and always held a bonfire on the 23th June at which her pupils performed , that was in the early evening , they also had a marquee where the adults danced into the early hours. The family getting on the barge are Alan Dunne and his wife Atty with their two children Mary and Jeanette.
