Important sidenote: I was running the native apple silicon version of unity and this didn't work out with the phonon plugin. I got the infamous error down below: "SystemNotInitializedException: [FMOD] Initialization failed : Loading plugin 'phonon_fmod' from '/Assets/Plugins/FMOD/platforms/mac/lib/phonon_fmod.bundle' : ERR_FILE_NOTFOUND : File not found." Now this is normally easily solved by moving a file to a different location (I talk about this at 10:53 in the video) On windows this error didn't occur anymore after moving the file, but on the Apple Silicon version of Unity for Mac it kept returning the error that the file could not be found, even though it was in the right location. Switching to the Intel version of Unity for Mac (using Rosetta 2) solved this problem.
