[Recorded 9/4/19] We're back at my first (and so far only) Express elevators at the Mount Pleasant Car Park in Liverpool and I thought it would be a good idea to find out how many of them still had the epic 60s Express buttons. Sadly Lift #2 was still broken so I was unable to check it out but the two lifts on the left do still have the original buttons while the working one on the right did not, which almost suggests to me that the broken one does not have them either and that these were modded at ever so slightly different times and converted from 2 pairs into one big set of 4. As you can see the Dewhurst mod was necessary for these lifts to comply with DDA regulations - look how high up those original alarm buttons are!
