These original compositions were inspired by traditional Irish melodies, some of which date back centuries. Each piece comprises two parts: the first consists of the bare melody harmonized with a simple bass line and few chords and should be accessible to beginners; the second repeats the same melody, but harmonizes it with a more complex bass line and more chords and should should lie within the reach of intermediate players.
