Here is a perfect Khoya Gujiya recipe – crispy outside, rich & soft inside 😋 Step-by-step 👇 🟡 Ingredients ➤ For Dough (Outer Cover) 2 cups All-purpose flour (Maida) 4 tbsp Ghee (clarified butter) Water (to knead) ➤ For Filling (Stuffing) 1 cup Khoya (Mawa) – grated ½ cup Powdered sugar 2 tbsp Semolina (Sooji) 2 tbsp Desiccated coconut 2 tbsp Chopped almonds 2 tbsp Chopped cashews ½ tsp Cardamom powder (Elaichi) 1 tbsp Ghee ➤ For Frying Oil or Ghee 🟠 Step 1: Make the Dough Take a bowl and add maida + ghee. Mix well with hands until it looks like breadcrumbs. Add water little by little and make a tight dough. Cover it and keep it aside for 20–25 minutes. 🟠 Step 2: Prepare the Filling Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan. Add sooji and roast for 2 minutes on low flame. Add grated khoya and cook for 3–4 minutes. Turn off the gas and let it cool completely. Now add: Powdered sugar Cardamom powder Mix everything nicely. 👉 Make sure mixture is completely cool before filling. 🟠 Step 3: Shape the Gujiya Knead the dough again. Make small balls from the dough. Roll each ball into small puri (circle). Place 1–2 tbsp stuffing in the center. Apply water on the edges. Fold into half (semi-circle). Press the edges and seal properly. Twist the edges or use a gujiya mould. 🟠 Step 4: Fry the Gujiya Heat oil or ghee on medium-low flame. Add gujiyas slowly. Fry on low flame until golden brown. Turn sides gently while frying. Take them out 🟢 Step 5: Serve Let them cool down a bit. Your Khoya Gujiya is ready ✨ Crispy outside & delicious sweet filling inside!
