Balasore Suicide: FIR Alleges Principal, HOD Shamed & Threatened Student | India Today

In the case of a Balasore student who self-immolated after alleging sexual harassment, her family has filed an FIR. The complaint alleges that the college principal and the Head of Department (HOD) shamed and threatened the student in the principal's office just minutes before her death. According to the family's complaint, she was manipulated into withdrawing her case, asked to apologize to her alleged harasser, and told she would not be able to show her face to anyone.
