Happy weekend to you! It is smack in the middle of finals now, isn't it! This vlog of April, specifically 11 days I filmed out of the entire month. It was a lot of hectic catching up (and recovering from vacation mode).. didn't help that I got sick, for like the 6th time this school year! For us students, we are either just bracing ourselves for finals, or pushing through (or both). I tell myself to end each of my days trying to take away one thing I've learned that day, and find some positivity out of it. I also remind myself that there is so much ahead for me in life, and when I get very overwhelmed about school work- I know that in a couple decades time, this would have just been another part of growing up. So I make the most of it, really take in all the highs and lows, and mostly importantly, put my best effort into what I do. Also I won't shame myself into feeling like a failure when things go wrong. It's the first week of finals and let me tell you, things are just going awry left and right. I had this whole schedule planned out, color coded and fancy telling me everything I have to do for my 4 courses to stay on track. And right off the bat, my yarn runs out for weaving and I was delayed 2 days to prepping my loom. Last night I was washing my silkscreen, and the water RIPPED a hole in it. This happens, I have to say I wasn't as careful as I should have been, but it's frustrating because it cost me another $50 to buy a new screen and tape to stretch it... Whenever I make these errors though, I just keep in mind that this is how I learn... I tell myself, "I will never make this mistake again". It's no guarantee, because you know accidents happen, and it's frustrating, but I tell myself that so I can be as preventative as possible. But anyway- For those who are out for the summer, hooray! I hope you are having a great start to your break, I would love to hear what you are up to in the comments below. I have so much coming at me this summer, it is both exciting and a little scary! Can't wait to share that with you through the summer vlogs. I also had this idea of making daily vlogs? Most of my footage is compiled in a weekly (or in this case, monthly) format. Would daily be too short, or too boring since there aren't as many scenes in it? I have been watching daily vlogs lately, and I haven been enjoying it. Let me know!
