The StarterHorn does not have any sidelobes, which is a feature important in unlicensed bands where RF interference is the no.1 problem. Thanks to the zero SLs radiation pattern, StarterHorn provides outstanding performance in densely co-located sites. It doesn’t transmit or receive the interference, resulting in high network throughput regardless how many sectors are near by. Beam efficiency is a measure of SLs with values from 0 to 100%. The higher it is, the less SLs an antenna has. StarterHorn 30 USMA has a BE of 92 % suppressing the vast majority of interference. The maximum gain as well as the radiation pattern stability over the whole 800 MHz bandwidth is steady, providing reliable coverage and performance in both polarizations. The StarterHorn female RP-SMA interface lets you connect any radio with coaxial output. Additionally, removing the adapter lets you connect waveguide based radios. Ideal usage scenarios for StarterHorn 30 USMA are dense sector coverage co-locations regardless of the landscape type. It is easy to assemble and install making the work of a tower technician straightforward. Mechanical & assembly part The body of the StarterHorn is made of aluminium and weighs 1.5 kg. Working temperature range is -30 to +55 degrees celsius. The mounting of the AS is an industry standard V-bolt bracket for quick and easy deployment. The V-bolt nuts have black colored anti-friction surface coating protecting them from seizing and makes the bracket easy to reuse - check our short video about the anti-friction coating for more information.
