A very unexpected return... 905/6 now being plain white for primary use on the Edinburgh university student shuttle bus means they become vacant when the students are off. On the 19th of June 2024, they were both put to the test, being used on peak time express routes to see if they'd be suitable for a short return to service over the next few following days. This was because during this time both the X99 "Cruiselink" service and special event service 98 were both running at the same time so Lothian were running on full capacity hence why 905/6 were called back briefly to help out.
