I made this video early into my rebuilding adventure. Subsequently I found that a lot would not wick correctly - they were burning! If you find this happens to YOU, the solution is quite simple. Leave out the step of laying the wicking on top of the "single layer". Proceed as per the video, then wrap the single layer around the OUTSIDE of the inner barrel AFTER you have inserted the mesh/wick assembly and trim to a small overlap. It appears 6 layers INSIDE the coil is too much and does not wick correctly. I now use this method and all my coils are firing perfectly!
