They also touched upon the mystery of Jimmy Hoffa's murder, dismissing the narrative of the movie "The Irishman" as "nonsense." Sammy refuted any involvement of Joey Merlino in Hoffa's case, suggesting instead that the Genovese might have been involved. Based on his understanding of how the Genovese operate, Sammy theorized Hoffa's body would likely have been buried in Ohio, ridiculing the story of the body being driven back to New Jersey.
