The 1968 Kander and Ebb musical "Zorba" returned to Broadway in 1983, with stars Anthony Quinn and Lila Kedrova repeating the roles they had played in the hit non-musical source film "Zorba the Greek." Kedrova won an Oscar for the film and took home a Tony Award for this stage production. As she lies dying, Madame Hortense (Kedrova) recalls her sixteenth birthday in "Happy Birthday." Then (at 3:47) Zorba (Quinn) and Niko (Jeff McCarthy, who replaced Robert Westenberg) say farewell in "I Am Free."
