Our hotel on Phi Phi Don: https://www.agoda.com/partners/partne... While staying on the Phi Phi Islands, we had to do a full day boat tour to some of the iconic places on the islands! Phi Phi Islands are made up of six different islands and many famous places - including Maya Bay! Maya Bay is known as the most beautiful beach in the world! It became famous after it was the filming location of the Hollywood movie 'The Beach' starring Leonardo DiCaprio. So many tourists wanted to visit Maya Bay that all the wildlife started to die. Thailand closed the beach for over 3 years to try to help it recover....and it has now reopened! Our tour started close to the pier on Phi Phi Don. We then went to Shark Point, Bamboo Island, Monkey Beach, Viking Cave, Pileh Bay Lagoon, and finally the famous Maya Bay! After visiting Maya Bay we watched the sunset from the boat. We then snorkeled with glow in the dark plankton and returned back to Phi Phi Don! We definitely recommend doing a day tour like this when you go to the Koh Phi Phi! It was such a fun day!!
