Salou is a municipality of the comarca Tarragonès, in the province of Tarragona in Catalonia, in Spain. The town is located approximately 10 km from Tarragona and Reus on the Costa Dorada and 112 km from Barcelona. The town has many beaches, interrupted by rocky coves. One of the main attractions is the PortAventura resort including Ferrari Land and the PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park, formerly owned by NBC Universal.
