(GENESYS) RETURN OF THE KING - Dragon Ruler (February 2026) feat. Joshua Schmidt's List

The kings of 2013 Yugioh meta have returned, only this time it is in GENESYS format! Set up your field, graveyard and hand with a near-limitless Dragon army as you draw 10+ cards with Super Rejuvenation and set up multiple negates/pops! Not only that, you get to reset your opponent's gamestate with Disaster, Dragon Ruler of Apocalypses's field and GY banish! If your opponent manages to survive that and the battlephase, you stack on top of your Disaster an extremely thick 7 material Zeus, enough to wipe your opponent's board three times! One of the only floodgates stopping Dragon Rulers from absolutely dominating is essentially gone from the metagame - and that is Droll, too heavily pointed for most decks to consider! The Dragon Ruler pilot still has to watch out for other lingering floodgates such as Dimensional Fissure, Dimension Shifter and Mistaken Arrest. Other than that, Dragon Ruler can usually out-resource, out-muscle and out-grind every GENESYS deck it comes across!
