Giovanni Emanuele Corazza is a Full Professor at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, President of the CINECA Consortium, founder of the Marconi Institute for Creativity, Member of the Marconi Society Board of Directors, Member of the Partnership Board of the 5G-PPP. The Marconi Institute for Creativity, a joint initiative of the Fondazione Guglielmo Marconi and of the University of Bologna, was founded in 2011 with the purpose of establishing creative thinking as a science. The three pillars upon which MIC operates are those of scientific research, education activities, and support to the process of creativity and innovation. "Creativity in the near future becomes a fundamental skill for every human being, and not just a talent reserved for some special personalities". Electronic engineer, full professor at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, President of Cineca and of the Marconi Institute of Technology, always passionate about technology and the importance of creativity for scientific development. In addition to being a top member of prestigious university and cultural institutions, he has won important international awards for his research on 5G networks, satellite communications, transmission techniques and more. Thanks to his solid reputation, he is the scientific director of 17 projects promoted by the European Union and the ESA - European Space Agency.
