Date: 26.11.2024 Train number: 2910 (replacing ICE 1600) Starting station: München Hbf Final station: Hamburg-Altona Train type: ICE 1 (Class 401) 2nd redesign Operator: Deutsche Bahn Vmax. train: 280 km/h Vmax. railway: 300 km/h In the end of November I indeed had the luck to travel on bord of an ICE 1 from Munich to Hamburg during the day, which was actually not possible according to the regular schedule. The ICE 1600, which I actually had planned to take, was operated with ICE 1 instead of ICE T trains under the train number 2910 for a short period of time. The train part with the number 1710 to Ostseebad Binz got cancelled. Another exception was, that the ICE trains from Munich to Hamburg via Berlin were rerouted twice due to construction works, namely between Nuremberg and Erfurt via Würzburg and Fulda and between Berlin and Hamburg via Stendal and Uelzen. The scheduled travel time therefore was 8:52 h. Unfortunately I didn´t have a seat reservation and wasn´t able to record some important parts of the trip, so I resigned to cut a video of the whole journey. Therefore I will only upload two parts, which I recorded completely. This is the first and the second is Würzburg - Fulda. Time indication: 03:09 --- Ingolstadt Hbf 07:17 --- Ingolstadt Nord, beginning of the high speed rail 16:46 --- Kinding (Altmühltal) 25:02 --- Allersberg (Rothsee) 28:39 --- End of the high speed rail 33:03 Nürnberg Hbf Have a nice trip!
