Living Water for a Thirsty Heart | Sunday Gospel Reflection – March 8, 2026 In today’s Sunday Mass readings, we encounter a powerful message about the deepest thirst of the human soul. In the Gospel of John 4:5-42, Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well and offers her something far greater than ordinary water—living water that leads to eternal life. The readings reveal how God responds to our spiritual thirst with mercy and grace. In Exodus 17:3-7, God brings water from the rock for His people in the desert. In Romans 5:1-8, Saint Paul reminds us that God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. The Psalm invites us to listen to God today and not harden our hearts. This reflection invites us to recognize our own spiritual thirst and to come to Christ, who alone can fill the deepest longing of our hearts. May this reflection help you grow in faith, prayer, and trust in God during this sacred season. 🙏 Daily Catholic Reflections and Devotional Music by Lam Naing If this reflection blesses you: 👍 Like 💬 Share your prayer intentions in the comments 🔔 Subscribe for more Gospel reflections, devotional songs, and Christian inspiration.
