The Biomedical Engineering programme focuses on the design of future diagnostic and treatment methods at hospitals and in the field. The interaction between the human organism, technical equipment, and methods is essential to medicine and technology. The Biomedical Engineering programme offers research-based teaching and the opportunity to specialize in one of the three focus areas: Signal and Model-based Diagnostics Image Diagnostics and Radiation Physics Biomechanics and Biomaterials The Biomedical Engineering programme is an interdisciplinary programme offered by DTU in collaboration with the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen.
