Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe | Cooking with Andy Ingredients For the Dough: • 120 ml warm milk • 20 g sugar • 5 g instant dry yeast • 3 g salt • 1 egg • 250 g all-purpose flour (or bread flour) • 30 g room-temperature butter For the Garlic Topping: • 15 g butter • 1 tbsp sugar • 1½ tbsp mayonnaise • 2 tbsp freshly chopped green onions • 3 garlic cloves, minced or squeezed For Assembly: • 100–150 g mozzarella cheese (or more, to taste) ________________________________________ Instructions 1. Prepare the Dough: o In a mixing bowl, combine 120 ml warm milk, 20 g sugar, and 5 g instant dry yeast. Mix well, cover, and let it rest for 10 minutes until the yeast activates and becomes frothy. o Add 3 g salt and crack in 1 egg. Mix until combined. o Gradually add 250 g all-purpose flour and mix using an electric mixer or by hand until the dough forms. o Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Add 30 g room-temperature butter and continue kneading for another 2 minutes. 2. Rest the Dough: o Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 5 minutes. o After resting, shape the dough into a flat, round disc. 3. Make the Garlic Topping: o In a small bowl, combine 15 g butter, 1 tbsp sugar, 1½ tbsp mayonnaise, 2 tbsp chopped green onions, and 3 minced garlic cloves. Mix well to form a creamy paste. 4. Assemble the Bread: o Using a brush, spread the garlic topping evenly over the surface of the dough. o Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously on top. 5. Bake the Bread: o Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). o Bake the bread for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. 6.
