ReStory is a wonderful game set in Tokyo in the mid-2000s where we run a little electronics repair shop, so we get to immerse ourselves in some splendid sort-of-old tech! Depending on your age you'll either be confused as to what the items are or you'll be nostalgic for them, but they include such classics as 'old' mobile phones and Tamagotchi-style pets! After a spot of tidying up we get to work on repairing our first item; a Pokia 3310 (Copyright infringement avoided, phew!). With this, and all the other items, we have to dismantle them piece by piece, unscrewing various bits and bobs and then we deal with the troublesome components. Some need a clean whereas others need replacing. We're able to keep spares in a handy little box and also we can use our retro PC to order in the parts we need or other similar devices so we can strip them for parts. We also interact with the characters who drop off the items. There's our Landlord, who seems a little bit shady, a Police Officer, who seems keen to catch baddies, our courier, who is starting a relationship with a girl next door, and many more! It's lovely, it's charming, it's full of nostalgia, and it's fun. Go try it out! NOTE: This is the demo version of the game.
