Red Sea Liveaboard June 2025 This was our second dive of the day right after breakfast and it was the best dive of the day! On April 19th, 1983, the Greek cargo ship Giannis D met its dramatic end when it slammed into the Sha’ab Abu Nuhas reef in the Red Sea. Today, it rests on its side, 27 meters below the surface, transformed into one of the Red Sea’s most thrilling dive sites. Explorers from around the world come here to weave their way through narrow passageways, descend into massive engine rooms, and drift past the ghostly remains of its timber cargo. What was once a tragic accident has now become an underwater adventure — a shipwreck teeming with vibrant marine life and a must-see destination for any diver chasing history beneath the waves.
