1/17/19 Union Pacific SD70ACe 4141 and SD70AH 1943 on display at West Colton, CA

For the Los Angeles, CA stop of the George Bush 41 Museum and Library SD70ACe 4141's tour, along with its companion, the Spirit of Union Pacific SD70AH 1943, ended up happening over at the Union Pacific West Colton classification yard, the same yard that these two first initially arrived while on the MFWWC back on Monday, the 14th. For three days, this beautiful pair of locomotives have been sitting at the West Colton's hump pocket track used for storage which turned out to be a great spot for these locomotives to be seen by the employees of the hump yard as well as mainline crews that either stop or pass by on the nearby Alhambra subdivision. The crews were pretty okay with us seeing them so here is all the footage, images & clips, we got of these two awesome locomotives during the rain as well as when the rain stopped. As for updates...the UP 4141 & UP 1943 have recently moved up to Pepper departure yard and are expected to be on display in Roseville, CA starting tomorrow, Saturday the 19th, so the pair should leave West Colton between 11 AM through 3 PM pacific time today, Friday the 18th on a Q/MWCRV-18.
