We visited Dubai Mall to see if Al Baik is OVERHYPED or NOT. Since opening, Al Baik has been one of the busiest spots in Dubai Mall’s food court, known for its cheap eats and famous fried chicken. But is it really worth all the hype? To find out, we did an Al Baik full menu challenge! In this Al Baik food review, we tried everything – from the Double Baik Burger to the legendary broasted chicken, nuggets, fish nuggets, shrimp, and garlic sauce. We wanted to give you the most honest review and see if Al Baik in Dubai is as good as the Al Baik in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This was my first time ever trying Al Baik, and I made sure to order everything recommended on social media, including the fan-favorite garlic sauce and spicy broasted chicken. From the spicy broasted chicken to the jumbo shrimp and cocktail sauce, we’re trying it all. ✅ Honest Review: I’m giving you my honest thoughts on each item, including taste, texture, and value for money. ✅ Menu Breakdown: Double Baik Burger – Spicy seasoning throughout the meat, melty American cheese, jalapenos, and cocktail sauce. Price: 8 AED 4 Piece Broasted Chicken – Juicy and succulent with crispy coating, spicy marinade injected into the chicken. Price: 18 AED 10 Piece Fish Nuggets – Surprisingly tasty with a spicy marinade inside. Price: 20.50 AED 10 Piece Regular Chicken Nuggets – Uniform texture, but lacked flavor. Price: 18 AED 10 Piece Jumbo Shrimp – Average, not as flavorful as expected. Price: 34 AED Garlic Sauce – Seriously pungent with a strong aftertaste. Price: 3 AED Cocktail Sauce – Tangy and flavorful. Price: 2 AED Total: 108.50 AED – Cheap and budget-friendly! 🍔 Is Al Baik Overhyped or Worth the Hype? After trying everything on the menu, I give you my final verdict. If you had asked me when Al Baik first opened and the queues were out the door, I’d say it was overhyped. But now that the hype has died down, I think it’s at the right level of hype. The broasted chicken was definitely the standout item, and for the price, it’s great value for money. The Double Baik Burger was decent for fast food but nothing revolutionary. As for the nuggets, I’d recommend the fish nuggets over the chicken nuggets.
