We put sugar, water and lemon in a pot and boil it for 10 minutes after it starts boiling. We take the syrup to cool down. The temperature of the water should be as high as your hand can handle. We take flour, granulated sugar, yeast and a glass of hot water into the mixing bowl and make a slurry/paste. We cover it and wait for 10 minutes for it to get leavened. Then we add hot water and get a soft dough. Let's cover it for half an hour. Let's follow all the details from our video. Mix it once more and then make the final leavening for 10 minutes. Let's put them into small pieces and take them into hot oil to fry. We put our Loukoumades dough into pieces with the help of a dessert spoon. From time to time, let's dip our spoon into cold oil that we put in a bowl, so that the doughs can easily come out of the spoon. Let's fry it until it turns gold as we show in our video. After taking it into the completely cooled syrup and mixing it, let's put it in a large bowl to cool it down. Then we can serve them. It's easy to prepare. It is a dessert that requires some effort. I hope you can enjoy it with your beloved ones. Post Script: I increased the flour to 4.5 glasses. I’ve put too much water in. I didn't want to reduce the water. We have syrup plenty enough for lots of Loukoumades pieces. You can increase the flour amount up to 5 cups if you wish.
