Some aver that “such is the connect that ‘Panjimites’ have with this eatery that they may travel the world, but when they return to Goa, their first stop is at Café Bhonsle”, presumably for the comforting food - tamata bhaji, sukhi bhaji, alsanna bhaji with poori, pav, goan samosa, mirchi and much more - and also, conversation. I enjoyed my morning here, not just the food but also an interesting tête-à-tête with its friendly patrons. Café Bhonsle is a definite must-visit when you are in Panjim, and especially to get a flavour of Goan vegetarian cuisine.
