Prasat Phum Pon is an ancient Chenla temple showing the characteristic Chenla style architecture from the seventh century, with orange brickwork, a sparsely carved exterior and a pyramidal roof. We learn about the story of Princess Phra Nang Srichan or Niang Doh Thom, but people generally called her as Phra Nang Nom Yai. Thailand Lifestyle takes you to the city of Surin, the red temple, the Surin city pillar shrine and the Phraya Surin Phakdi Si Narong Changwang (Pum) monument. Phraya Surin Phakdi (Pum) was the first governor of Prathai Saman and the one who laid the foundation of Surin.
