I played the video games 'story mode' on the PS5 Pro console, and I did edit. There will be points where my lives are at zero and are suddenly filled up, and I've got a different character selected so you get to see that. This was a nostalgic game to play. My first time playing TMNT was on a Gameboy. This Nintendo Gameboy version did impress me but the Sega Genesis edition in my opinion, was much more fun to play than the Super Nintendo and Arcade versions! Gameboy gameplay was smooth for the most part. I also played in Gameboy Color version of the game which was pretty cool. The boss fights were a little easier than the other games but still a challenge overall. My only gripe with the game was the fact that you have to start all over if you die. Not a big deal if you have time to play. The game was still enjoyable even after dying so many times. The graphics are what you'd expect from a Gameboy game. This was the Cowabunga edition for PS5. It was free on PS Store for PS Subscribers. If you are thinking about signing up for PS Plus just for this game, I would do it. My previous recommendation was not to get it, but I have changed my mind. The bonus content includes, music, comics, tv show pictures, game manuals and other things. It is absolutely worth it in my opinion. My advice if you miss the PS Plus sign up, is to wait for the game to go on sale for $15 and purchase the collection. TMNT Cowabunga Edition does come with 13 games, not including the 5 online games at roughly a 10GB download. That may be a MAJOR benefit to you if you're looking for nostalgia and some hours of gaming at a low cost. I hope you enjoy!
