July 17, 2010 Ontario storm chase, lp updraft and Strong storms with rotation in Southern ontario

Today was a good day for chasing , scattered thunderstorms with classic structure early in the afternoon were dotting southern Ontario. The first storm was one of those. Didn't do much but showed some nice textbook structure. I went home then set of storms started coming in from the great lakes, I left to meet them. I was surprised to find a rare(for ontario) Lp updraft that was linear but had some vertical rotation going on if you take the whole base and tower into effect. Behind that Lp cell to the northwest was a monster. I probably should have gotten there sooner as I got to the storm as it was peaking on radar but lp's are such a treat sometimes. The last storm was hp it showed some decent rotation on radar and was huge, The motions under it were crazy and it had an intense look to it.
