In 2023, I cycled solo across Eastern Poland - a journey that genuinely changed how I see this country, its people, and my place here. Over nine days, I rode roughly 750km through some of the most remote parts of Poland, following the eastern border with Ukraine, Belarus, and Lithuania. I’m not a cyclist, I did the entire trip alone, and I had no real idea what to expect - physically, mentally, or emotionally. This video isn’t a day-by-day travel vlog. It’s a personal story about why I chose to do this trip, what it was like moving slowly through Eastern Poland, and the moments that stayed with me - from military checkpoints and border forests, to unexpected kindness, hospitality, and human connection.
