In this video, Jake breaks down how to use your FJ Wireless strobes and speedlights with the Westcott StudioLink app. SAVE YOUR LIGHTING SETUPS The StudioLink App allows you to create and save up to 99 of your favorite reoccurring lighting scenario settings by saving them as Scenes. This is available in the FJ and LED sections of the app. CONNECTING AN FJ-X TRIGGER ENABLING BLUETOOTH® FJ-X2m Turn on the FJ-X2m by long-pressing the Power|Menu button. Press the second and third Menu Selection buttons simultaneously to enter the Settings menu. Scroll down on the Selection wheel until the Bluetooth® icon is highlighted green. Press down on the wheel to highlight [OFF], then press down on the wheel once to change the status to [ON]. Press OK to return to the main screen. [Note: The Bluetooth icon in the bottom right-hand corner. FJ-X3 Turn on the FJ-X3 by long-pressing the Power button. Press and hold down the SYNC ∙ MENU button to enter the Settings menu. Using the Control Pad click the down button until the Bluetooth® icon is highlighted green. Press down on the center button of the Control Pad to highlight [OFF], then press down on the down button once to change the status to [ON]. Press and hold down the SYNC ∙ MENU button to return to the main screen. [Note: The Bluetooth icon in the bottom right-hand corner. NOTE: Powering off FJ-X triggers will turn off Bluetooth® functionality. Repeat the steps above to re-enable. _ CONNECTING FJ-X TRIGGERS TO THE APP Ensure that the FJ-X is on. Ensure that the FJ light is on. Open the StudioLink app. Select the FJ Controls icon. When the app displays the Select a Devices screen, select your FJ-X Trigger from the list of available devices.
