If your community experiences a critical incident, such as a sudden or unexpected death, an act of violence, or a natural disaster, we recommend bringing in trauma experts to help your community recover. After a traumatic event, it's critical to identify urgent issues, provide guidance, and offer individual and group support. This is called a trauma response, and it’s designed to address the immediate needs of your community, foster healing, and create a foundation for recovery.
