Episode 2 in our journey to the Shotokan Tournament that begs the question can a Tang Soo Do black beat Shotokan? In this series I went behind enemy lines, myself and two of my students learned a Shotokan kata (Kankudai) from a very nice Shotokan black belt. Owner and head instructor of Camarillo Shotokan Shawn Danaher was kind enough to let us learn from him and compete in his tournament.
