Pakka Qila, located in Hyderabad, Sindh, is one of the most significant historical forts of the region. It was constructed in 1768 by Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro as a strong defensive structure on the banks of the Indus River. Later, the fort became the capital of the Talpur rulers and served as an important administrative and military center. Built with baked bricks, Pakka Qila witnessed major political events until the British conquest in 1843, making it a symbol of Sindh’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
