1.St Bees Head It is a headland on the North West coast of the English county of Cumbria and is named after the nearby village of St Bees. It is the only stretch of Heritage Coast on the English coastline between the Welsh and Scottish borders, and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. 2.St Bees Beach Stretching out below the dramatic headland of St Bees Head is a mile long sand and pebble beach.Stretching from South Head to Seamill lane, St Bees beach consists of a shingle bank which slopes down to an expanse of golden sand. The sand here is exposed at most states of tide except for a couple of hours either side of high tide.At the northern end of the beach is a promenade that extends a towards the red sandstone cliffs in the central section of the beach.
