We're announcing a new dynamic duo at Taylored Expressions! Meet Gus & Gertie. Like Snoopy and Woodstock, this dog and bird friendship is the real deal. Today, Heather Nichols is creating multiple cards using the Gus & Gertie stamp set and coordinating dies. She's going to start with a Toffee cardstock and show you how to create a fun background using the stamp set, Sugar Cube ink and a MISTI. After the background is complete, she's going to stamp the images in Oreo ink and then color them in with colored pencils. Once colored, she will cut them out with their coordinating dies. Finally, she will use a bit of foam tape to pop up the characters and stamp a finishing sentiment on the card front.
