Applying low-cost sensors and citizen-science to assess Indoor Air Quality (IAQ): Current practices, gaps and research priorities by Susan Arnold Low-cost sensors are important tools for assessing IAQ in resource-challenged Environmental Justice communities. Engaging with communities using citizen-science approaches removes several barriers to knowledge generation, while empowering these communities by actively involving them in the process and equipping them to advocate for improving it. This webinar will provide an overview of how low-cost sensors have been used in combination with citizen-science approaches to assess IAQ. We will discuss current practices, knowledge gaps and research priorities for addressing these gaps.
