We literally love Shadowgate, feel our love in this Beyond Shadowgate Longplay video!! Beyond Shadowgate is a direct sequel to the seminal original Shadowgate (You should go watch our full gameplay video f the NES version!). For whatever reason, even though the original game came out on every platform ever, its sequel only came out for the TurboGrafx CD. Beyond Shadowgate is more of a traditional point click adventure game like Maniac Mansion than the original, and thats fine by me! In this Beyond Shadowgate gameplay video we work our way through the castle dungeons, solve some puzzles, make it to the caves underneath the castle, solve some puzzles, eventually escape, wander around, and get killed by aliens? Weird. Oh yeah, between all those puzzles are literally dozens of deaths, apparently Shadowgate 2 is just as hard if not harder than the original! So yeah, Beyond Shadowgate is a clunky game, but it still is really really fun, I enjoyed the heck out my time with the game, and recommend everyone check it out if you are at all interested!
