Hi all, it's been a while since we've been out hunting! Weather hasn't been on our side recently with a lot of rain meaning mud and deep going. Dobs is about to turn 23 and we have lots of showing plans for next year so I've been extra cautious, and today was (on paper!) a slightly shorter meet with only two lines. But we still covered 8 miles! People in the UK might have heard about the proposed ban on trail hunting that the Labour government is going to bring in. While I think that this is a ridiculous and disgusting proposal which is less concerned with animal welfare and more with class issues, I want to reiterate something: this channel shows clean boot hunt - i.e. hunts with bloodhounds chasing human runners. There are no animals involved in any chase, and clean boot hunting is supported by both animal welfare campaigners like Brian May and organisations like the League Against Cruel Sports.
