The beginning of a new journey: Instead of continuing my journey in the west of Africa as planned, my travel partner and I decided to go North instead of South, Nordkapp instead of Capetown. But before we could take off we had to face several challenges: a lost passport, a long quarantine in Switzerland and borders that just opened 5 days before we took off. But we finally made it: In this first episode of my "Expedition North" we rode from Switzerland to Germany, from Frankfurt to Hamburg and the German Sea. And we visited a very speical place: The coastal town Eckernförde where my father was born.
