ITU Hosts Grade 10 Crescentarians

Information Technology University today hosted Grade 10 Computer Science students of Crescent Model Higher Secondary School. On their arrival, the students were welcomed by the ITU team and briefed by Ms. Anum Manzoor and Mr. Salman Mubarak from the admissions team. The admissions team briefed the students about life at ITU, scholarships and world-class research facilities offered on campus. The students were led by their Computer Science teacher Mr. Shakirullah and Coordinator Mr. Faisal Mehmood. Later, Mr. Muhammad Jahanzeb Akbar interacted with the students and gave a comprehensive lecture on the importance of Information Technology in today’s modern age. Mr. Akbar is Director at PITB and Head of the Project Management Unit of Software Engineering Team. He shared his valuable experience and keen insights with the students. In the end, students toured the campus and visited Lincoln Corner, ITU Campus Radio FM 90.4, research labs and Plan 9. They learned about entrepreneurship and various ongoing research projects. They were highly impressed by the facilities and culture of learning at ITU.
