This blend perhaps is not quite a traditional Virginia / Perique blend like the PS Luxury Flake, that I am looking forward to try next, but in my opinion the Black Cavendish core adds so much to the Virginia & Perique. I am impressed by the cleaver blending idea of this blend & thoroughly enjoying smoking it. I am can confidently recommend it to any pipe smoker. To truly enjoy each flavour layer try folding and lightly stuffing. Blend description. A blend of ripe Virginia tobacco spiced with pure Louisiana Perique. The distinctive aroma of Perique combined with the natural sweetness of Virginia tobaccos provides a wonderful characteristic taste. The centre of mellow, fermented Black Cavendish serves to smoothen the general impression and rounding the taste. It is all a handcrafted process from selecting the best tobacco, blending, rolling, cutting, and packing. The result is an unparalleled smoking experience.
