A Race Of Two Halves With Big SOF | iRacing IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge at Nürburgring | 4.6k SOF

Joining the server and seeing a SOF in TCR of 4667 certainly filled me with dread, haha Race-wise, the beginning stint felt off, and I couldn't find the pace at all; I was getting annoyed with myself. So, I decided to stay behind 11th and use that to try and save some fuel and wait for traffic to attempt to make an overtake. Which ended up working, was able to hold a gap to Ronald after getting past, and tried to hold a steady pace till pitting after an hour. After the stop, the car felt a lot better!! Felt easier to get pace, I was able to push a bit more and not go off, so I got back into the rhythm and kept going, couple people ahead were getting drive throughs from incident points, which I tried to focus on not getting close to 17, which I definitely thought was going be a failed task after getting like 4 in the first 10 minutes haha 25 minutes to go, we went on the attack to try and get 6th, and man!!!! We got really close to nearly getting that position. That was a brilliant way to end this race, my favourite part for sure.
