Should you buy a vintage Lutterloh set?? My Thoughts on Old vs New Lutterloh

I wanted a Lutterloh set for years and recently I got one, and another on the way almost immediately after. Since I finally (after 20 years of waiting!) had a vintage AND a new set in my hand I decided to answer one question I always wondered- is it worth it to buy a vintage set? Should you just cave and get a new one?? In the video, I mention my vintage set several times as a 70's set. It's technically a 70's to 80's combo, with some patterns from I believe 1979 to 1982. I wouldn't personally spend money on a set from the later 80's. I'd be apt to buy another earlier 70s set, since I know the patterns would be different.
