Recently, I had the pleasure of appearing on PTV World ....This Morning to share my lifelong passion for heritage railways. Since childhood, I’ve been enchanted by the chug of steam engines, vintage carriages and the timeless sense of adventure they carry. As a lover of history and literature, these railways breathe life into the stories and colonial-era journeys I grew up reading about. In Pakistan, many still echo the days of the Raj ..... offering a nostalgic, scenic bridge to the past. The best part? One of the hosts said that in his 13-year media career it was the first time he had met or interviewed a Pakistani woman who is a railway enthusiast. It was a heartening moment, knowing this passion isn’t common ....and it’s one of my dreams to inspire more women to join this love for heritage railways.
