If you walk from Beitou to Junjianyan, this climb can be transformed into an easy stroll down the stairs. From Beitou to Shipai Junjianyan, we took you through the 3 cliffs before(Big Cannon Cliff, Rehai Cliff, and Junjianyan). In this video, we share a shorter and easier route: Master Rock to Junjianyan , 2.6 kilometers, completed in one hour and ten minutes. You can take the MRT to Xinbeitou Station to start the climb, and there is Shipai Station after descending the mountain. It is a good choice to take the MRT to climb the mountain. After a short section of stairs and a steep slope at the trailhead, the trail is mostly gentle after passing Master Rock, so you won’t be too breathless while walking. The path is primitive and gives you the feeling of being in nature. There are three intersections on the way. Weather you go left or right, you will reach Junjianyan at the end (you must go left for the third one), which is convenient for avoiding crowds. It is like climbing a mountain in succession. You can choose the path by yourself, which is very interesting. The view from the peak of Junjianyan is superb, no matter how you take the photos.
