please watch in 1080p :) welcome back!! sooo jc has only just started and yet the stress is already building up… plus it’s march tomorrow already ???!!! 🧇🧇 my experiences in one month so far:: 1. lectures and tutorials ngl i’m kinda struggling a lot especially with math 🤯 it reminds me of the time i struggled when i first started amath LOL. the thing is we’re only two chapters in, with the first chapter being a recap ?? but who knows maybe i’ll end up liking it even more after a year. it’s just that now i feel rlly rlly behind w math like i’m not even exaggerating (i still love it though !!!! math best subj) and the teachers haven’t uploaded the solutions yet!! the rest of the subjects are still okay for now though. i think i’ve been doing math and chem too much and neglecting my bio (my other favourite subject?!?!!). econs is. uhhh 2. pressure the pressure in this school is moderate for now but it’s definitely way more than in secondary school :’) there’s so many skilled and knowledgeable ppl here so i would say??? that i’m like a small fish in a big pond rn. and it’s pretty intimidating when some people around you are already starting on the next few chapters before our class does so, or when you’re surrounded by many student leaders with excellent extracurriculars and academic achievements 😭 3. cca trials as for cca trials,,,, we had them over the course of 2? weeks? we’re getting our results today and omg omg i cannot do this. i signed up for six trials which was actually a pretty bad decision judging from how stressful it has been recently update: yeah they’re not too good 4. applications, interviews and signups i’ve gone for 4 interviews already?? with only one of them ending somewhat decently 🥲🥲 even though my school is known for giving students many extracurricular / portfolio opportunities, it actually depends on whether or not one is able to perform well during their interview / stand out from the crowd — so there are obv high chances of getting rejected from many things (esp if they’re highly competitive to get in to), even though you may have signed up for many things :’) but that’s how life is, and it’s totally okay bc at least you tried for them yk (definitely not trying to comfort myself rn)!! if you didn’t try you would never know what the outcome would be +++ experiences gained are so valuable. rejections don’t equate to failure 5. friends and waffles i’ve met a bunch of super duper cool and friendly people in my class the past month and i feel so grateful to have got to known them :) we’ve been eating waffles from the school convenience stall like minimally twice a week and i forged many interesting exps w them in just a month! my class is chill too and i like it 🫶 although my social circle is rather small, it has grown a lot ever since i came here HAHAHA. still trying to step out of my comfort zone tho! ok on to the waffles i’ve tried blueberry - 9/10 (very light) chocolate - 9.5/10 SO GOOD peanut - 9.4/10 (chocolate over peanut) nutella - 10/10 yes maple - 6/10 (maple flavour not strong ?? 😭) crepes i think i’ve tried more but now i can’t rmb ok byeees i think i gotta upload more consistenty 🖇️ – min 🧇 ___________________ 🧸 about me where i’m from: sg 🇸🇬 age: 16 what i film with: iphone 14 💌 socials ig: studyminz email: [email protected] studytwt: studiminz (currently inactive) 📖 ypt groups 1.
